A Birthday Princess

Happy Birthday to my sweet Ceci Bug!!! One year ago today she made her shining debut into our lives, and hearts!

She has given me smiles beyond belief, made me laugh until I cried, and made me cry because of her angelic face!! I'm so proud to call her daughter, and so thankful to be her mommy!! Love you Ceci Bug!!!

Seven Wonderful Years...

Seven years ago today, I married my best friend. Three years ago today we sealed our family together for time and all eternity!! Today is the anniversary of the most meaningful days in my life!! I love you babe!! Thank you for being the MOST amazing man I know, the MOST amazing father to our children, and MOST importantly for being my husband and best friend!!

Second Sewing Project

After sewing the previous dress for Cecilee, I got so excited that I started straight way on Sami one. I actually sewed this little bugger in one day.
She loved it so much that she insisted on wearing it to church. I insisted that she not, just because I didn't think it was "good enough" for it to be seen in public but I let her and Ceci Bug both wear them. They seemed to be a hit!!
I am now in the process of making them matching Dr. Seuss dresses. I LOVE the knot dresses so much, but after the "Seuss" dresses I plan on trying a different pattern.

My Newest Hobby...

So, I have always envied those who could sew/create lovely things. My mother was a beautiful seamstress and I never got the opportunity to learn from her.

After having two girls who look absolutely precious in dresses I decided it would be something I would love to learn.
My wonderful and talented friend Tristie took some of her own personal time to show me some of the ropes. I bought a sewing machine, had Tristie over and she showed me some techniques, lent me a pattern and I took the project on!! This (pic above) was my creation!!! My VERY FIRST sewing project!! It didn't turn out too shabby. In fact, I love it so much that I have a few more projects in mind. I think I could really become addicted to making dresses...or anything that would look cute on my girls!

Computer Savvy This!!!

I can't believe or even understand how on earth I managed to save my old blog, but I did. So here is to better upkeep of my blog, and trying to stay computer/blog savvy on my part!! Hahaha!!! I'm just so darn excited I can't stand it!!
